**OB TITLE**:HR Generalist
**AREA**:Claremont, Cape Town
**SALARY**:R40k per month
Office based role.
A diverse group of companies with interests in a number of activities including Telecommunications,
fibre provisioning, an ISP, Water and Electricity Utility Management, Property Management and
related activities, has a HR Generalist position that has become available. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the Management team and HR team, assisting them to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation.
**DUTIES**:
- Investigate ER matters, draft reports, and recommend actions.
- Advise line management on disciplinary and performance issues.
- Draft and issue counselling forms, warnings, and hearing notices.
- Support employee wellness programs and recruitment efforts.
- Facilitate performance management and maintain disciplinary consistency.
- Manage incapacity cases using the Bradford factor.
- Handle CCMA cases and ensure labour law compliance.
- Advise on Department of Labour inspections and BCEA compliance.
- Manage employee equity and reporting requirements.
- Conduct exit interviews and share insights with management.
- Oversee KPI tracking systems and improve facilitation processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, BCom Law / LLB Degree (Advantageous)
**Experience and knowledge**
- Proven experience in the HR field, preferably in a Generalist role.
- Solid knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act and related employment acts.
- Experience with CCMA processes, including conciliations and arbitrations.
- Experience in facilitating disciplinary and incapacity hearings
- Computer literate - experience with the use of the Google Suite preferable (Google Drive, Sheets and Docs)
Pay: Up to R40 000,00 per month
