We have an exciting opportunity within the healthcare industry, for a Project Manager. The position will be based in Johannesburg on a hybrid working agreement.

**Requirements**:

- Project Management Certification
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Experience within the healthcare and / or pharmaceutical industry
- Exceptional IT skills and use of latest project management tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Presentation skills
- Key client relationship management skills
- Ability to quickly build long-term connections with internal and external clients
- Must carry strong interpersonal skills and display a positive can-do attitude both internally and externally
- The ability to simplify project management for non-project managers to ensure projects are initiated and implemented effectively
- Adopting practical approaches when it comes to project management and planning
- Be extremely resourceful and able to use limited resources strategically
- Be able to manage tasks effectively
- Be able to meet timescales
- Keeping composure, even during conflict or in stressful situations
- Embracing change within the company or externally
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Excellent analytical skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the whole lifecycle of new projects within the company
- Manage the project from conception to completion, deliver joint planning, create project assets, draft and publish project plans, assign tasks, and determine target completion dates for the project’s various stages
- Be able to play a critical role in supporting project sponsors to manage resources according to budget
- Project Management:

- Lead and facilitate joint planning between project stakeholders
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Draft and publish project plan and project assets in consultation with stakeholders within a stipulated period of time.
- Conduct periodic health checks of the project plan to ensure quality of project planning and control
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Provide credible data, insights, and recommendations to deliver the project
- Budget:

- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Frequent alignment with the Project Sponsors to ensure that resources and budget are professionally managed.
- Team Management
- Work with Project Teams to integrate the project plans
- Assign specific tasks to specific Team Members to ensure overall project achievement
- Reporting and Business Management
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about progress, risks, issues and KPIs.
