DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Assembly/Packing**

Ø Ensure cartons are folded correctly, neatly and is not damaged in the process.

Ø Insert disposable bag.

Ø Inserting of all components as per the Packing and Work Instruction.

Ø Ensure visual checks are done once unit is passed through the process to ensure that all inner components were added.

Ø Weigh completed unit to ensure it meets the specification.

Ø Ensure sealing sticker is applied neatly and correctly.

Ø Pack completed units into shipper box and ensure shipper boxes are labelled with white identification label.

Ø Ensure daily targets are met as set out in KPI’s.

**Buffer Bottling**

Ø Ensure off the line inspections are done on the finished buffer bottles e.g. Label straight, Batch and expiry info is legible.

Ø Assist machine operator with achieving daily targets

Ø Assist with reworking of poorly labelled buffer bottles (Quarantined stock).

Ø Assist with end of batch stock reconciliations (Counting of left-over stock).

Ø Ensure stock is labelled with identification labels.

**Lot Specific Printing**

Ø Assist machine operator to count selected number of Articles for feeding stack sizes.

Ø Ensure 100% inspections are conducted on printed components.

Ø Packing and labelling of shipper boxes.

Ø Assist with end of batch stock reconciliations (Counting of left-over stock).

Ø Assist machine operator in achieving targets.

**General/Housekeeping**

Ø Always keep work area neat and tidy.

Ø Workstations must be cleared of any materials, bags boxes, etc. and floors must be cleaned at the end of each shift

Ø Perform general tasks as and when required.

Ø Advise Production Supervisor/Operations manager of any incidents and/or shortfalls.

Ø Assist with annual and/or monthly stock takes.

Ø Adherence to the company’s dress code.

Ø Ensure equipment is used properly and safely.

Ø Adherence to GMP, company policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

- At least 2 years working experience in a FMCG, Medical and or Pharmaceutical company or similar working environment
- Knowledge of GMP is an advantage

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: R5 500,00 - R5 830,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Muizenberg, Western Cape: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- FMCG, Medical, Pharmaceutical company or similar: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
