- Butchery manager is a person whom is fully qualified and experienced in all aspects of the butchery, and exercises control over employees in the department, and responsible for the efficient operation of the department.- Duties:
- Responsible for managing/supervising/training employees appointed in the department.
- Responsible to manage department employees time and attendance according to schedule.
- Responsible for health and safety standards in department.
- Responsible for hygiene standards in department
- Responsible for stock procurement.
- Responsible for managing stock within department
- Responsible for production planning and execution.
- Responsible for ensuring required range is available
- Responsible for ensuring cabinets and fridges are well merchandised and presented.
- Responsible to ensure price setting correct on all scales
- Responsible to ensure department price ticketing is up.
- Monitor and maintain required margin%
- Responsible to ensure that total waste is below 1%.
- Ensure compliance of department to establishments’ strategy.
- Responsible to drive sales strategy to achieve budget/targeted sales.
- Responsible for efficient customer service
- Responsible for all customer feedback/complaints resolved.
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment and refrigeration is operational/clean and well maintained**Inherent Requirements**
