Interim Electronic Assembler/tester

Follow assembly instructions
- Assemble from a sample or drawing meet
- Correctly identify electrical components, component polarity and colour coding of resistors
- Populate electronic components correctly on a circuit board
- Be competent in the use of hand soldering equipment
- Trim and clean boards after soldering
- Must be competent in the use of relevant hand tools and assembly jigs
- Must be competent in the use of relevant test jigs
- Perform basic fault finding and inspection of boards
- Follow SOP’s
- Should know and understand the procedure when assemblies pass and fail
- Should understand the save operating procedure and emergency procedure in case of emergency
- Performing basic mechanical assemblies associated with electrical assemblies (i.e. heat sinks, battery chargers, enclosures)
- Following standard assembly instructions (i.e. Right tool for the right job at the right workstation)
- Adhering to general health and safety and housekeeping rules

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: R11,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Riding, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Electronic manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
