**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- National Diploma in Accounting or similar

**Preferred**:

- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Degree) in Accounting or similar

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
**Knowledge required**:

- Strong administration knowledge and ability

- 2 -3 years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience

**Preferred**:

- Retail experience

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Stock counts for stores**
- Draw reports for identified stores, assigned days for stock take in each store
- Do reconciliation and communicate results to ops team
- Stores to review exceptions
- Shrinkage reporting
- Investigate stock losses/ gains
- Schedule stock counts

**2. Investigate Store and DC inventory queries and assist in resolving them**

**3. Goods in transit**
- Assist stores with follow ups and investigation

**4. Transporter claims**
- Receive and investigate weekly claims from transporter
- Do recon of all the accounts at the end of the month for all accounts around claims
- Submit claims - self-insurance or transporter
- Prepare journals
