Our client, who is at the forefront of its global industry in terms of sustainability and supporting the circular economy with a purpose to protect and enhance the environment by effectively managing the lifecycle of halocarbons to build a sustainable future has an exciting opportunity for a recent Financial Management Graduate to join its South African team as a Junior Accounts Clerk. This role will provide a great entry into the working environment and will include responsibilities to keep financial records updated, process invoices, prepare reports and reconcile.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the Finance department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Assist and support Company employees both locally and in other relevant geographic areas of operation
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Constantly update job knowledge

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Finance/Financial Management or equivalent
- Proven accounting and hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office especially Excel.
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude and flair for numbers
- Highly motivated and efficient self-starter
- Multitasking
- Willingness to learn
