WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Ensure high quality and safety standards as per OHS-act and company procedures
- Supervising and control of manufacturing processes.
- Supervising and control production personnel.
- Supervising and control of manufacturing facilities.
- Planning and control of production to achieve the sales plan.
- Daily feedback on production progress and problems encountered
- Budget control of the various costs associated to the plant.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- B Tech in Industrial/Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 Years’ Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a paint manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
- Computer Literate and able to operate the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Experience with an ERP system like SAP or QMuzik will be an advantage.
- Energetic, Self-motivated and able to work in a team
- Good communication skills (i.e. both verbal and written)
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement and display initiative.
