Aid and assist hospital employees in the management of prevention, identification and control of infections in patients and staff.
- Plan, develop and implement and infection control programme for the hospital using basic infection control standards.
- Responsible to the hospital management for reporting on a regular basis all infections in the hospital. Key requirements:
- Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of Infection Management Systems.
- Previous exposure to financial budgets.
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Previous exposure to Hospital Infection Prevention Policies and Practice.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Qualification in Infection control preferred**
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rondebosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
