**Position: Registered Counsellor**

**Department: Psycho Legal**

**Reports to: Managing Director (Registered Industrial Psychologist)**

**Location: Hlunga Group of Companies - Blackburn Road, Durban**

**North**

**Key Performance Areas (Not totally inclusive)**:

- Responsible for conducting psychometric assessments as and when necessary
- Analyse data and produce valid and reliable reports
- Responsible for scoring and reporting on the assessment that has been conducted
- Plans, coordinates and performs statistical analysis for basic and / or complex assessment
- Provides feedback on the interpretation of results to a diverse audience
- Ensure strict adherence to the HPCSA national policy, guidelines, quality standards and the company’s process flow
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all key account documentation, reports and client data
- Perform any other administration duties as and when required according to the applicable process flow
- Develop psychometrically sound and legally defensible assessments by determining the appropriate theory and model
- Engage in research projects to enhance the delivery of services to the client in a cost efficient manner
- Responsible for the project management of block bookings and the administrative staff in the department

**Minimum education, experience and skills required**:

- Matric / Grade 12 with at the least an Honours degree in Industrial Psychology or Psychology, with a valid driver’s licence (code 8)
- Must have completed the applicable practicals, have passed the board exam and possess a valid HPSCA registration as a Registered Counsellor
- Must have at least 3 years’ research experience and experience administering assessments, report writing and giving feedback
- Must have extensive of psychometrics, statistical procedures, research and evaluation methodology experience
- Must be computer literate in MS Office packages at an advanced proficiency level
- Must have excellent report writing skills with good attention to detail abilities
- Must have good communication skills (written & oral), time management and organizational skills

**Closing Date: 27thSeptember 2023**

**Salary**: R12,500.00 - R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- industry related: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Registration as a Registered Counsellor with the HPCSA (required)
- At least a code 8 driver's licence (preferred)
