**Job Advert Summary**:
**PURPOSE**:

- To ensure effective and efficient execution of operational, repair, maintenance and support goods and services buying tasks for allocated purchasing groups.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12/Standard 10 (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate Purchasing & Stores Mngt (Essential/Minimum)

**EXPERIENCE**:
3 years Relevant Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance or buying experience. Understanding of Enterprise Resources Planning and/or Cloud based procurement solutions (e.g. SAP MM, Coupa). (Essential/Minimum) Operational

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Competence: SAP Position Specific Module (Essential/Minimum)
- Competence: MS Office Relevant Package (Essential/Minimum)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Administration and Support Services**
- Low level reporting to Coordinator, Procurement on procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for relevant area
- Manage interfaces and liaise continuously with end user/suppliers to ensure that service delivery standards are met

**Business Partner Enablement**
- Identify, evaluate and support business partners/end-users to develop disciplined sourcing execution capabilities
- Provide process advice to business partners/end-users through in transaction guidance and support
- Working with various internal and external stakeholders to expand and enrich supply chain content

**Commercial, Logistics and Supplier Control**
- Compile and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ)'s/tender documents and receive tenders
- Evaluate and adjudicate tenders
- Negotiate price, delivery and lead times
- Expedite outstanding purchase orders
- Source and communicate availability of new vendors for approval and maintenance on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system/procurement system

**Compliance, Governance and Assurance**
- Ensure supplier and stakeholders comply with relevant regulatory requirements
- Compliance to supply chain policy, preferential procurement policy and other relevant policies

**Functional Excellence**
- Adhere to functional policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, end to end processes, tools, templates etc.
- Assist in standardising, simplifying and speeding-up of functional processes and eliminate duplication/ bureaucracy
- Assist in the execution of functional excellence initiatives
- Adherence to allocated purchasing group work split/allocations, on contract purchasing requirements and applicable payment terms
- Assist with addressing sourcing business partner/end-user problems where necessary or when advised by group purchasing

- Performance management: Adhere to performance management procedures

**Procurement Control**
- Actively source suppliers which are commercially and technically advantageous
- Ensure product quality and quantity
- Achieve procurement savings target
- Validate dates and update supply chain management/ERP system with respect to procurement operations
- Accounts payable and order related query resolution
