**Job Description**:

- The Resource Geologist’s role is to develop geological resource evaluations of exploration and operational projects, using specialized and appropriately customized software and manage legal risk to the organisation.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Collate, analyse, and evaluate data using specialized software and customised routines.
- Effective evaluation and reporting of resources.
- Monitor evaluations progress against project schedules and advise.
- Management and facilitating of the transition and integration of captured geological data
- Validation of all geological data
- Producing or updating of existing geological and geometallurgical resource models
- Ensures compliance with all legal, environmental, social, occupational health and safety and risk management standards and best practices.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.

**_This role forms part of the Geology function at a Band 6 level reporting to the Chief Geologist_**

**Qualifications
- Required Qualifications**:

- Completed Geology Degree (preferably BSc Hons.) Business

**Required Experience**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in mining geology
- Experience in polymetallic large tonnage low grade ore deposits (Advantageous)
- Active and direct involvement in Resource Evaluation of Exploration and Mine work
- Geological Project Management experience
- Experience in the development of Resource Evaluation routines
- Exposure with the Declaration /Reporting of resources and reserves as per SAMREC code compliance.
