BHR Solutions is a B-BBEE compliant project, construction and MEFP (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Plumbing) management company.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician who thrives in a competitive environment and can deliver on set targets.

Some of the duties include:

- Assist with all technical and electrical aspects of solar and backup installations.
- Interpret technical documentation and project drawings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace solar equipment, electrical wiring or fixtures.
- Ensure quality control for all electrical installations and maintenance.
- Design of solar systems.
- Booking stock (in and out) and ensuring accurate stock record keeping.
- Responsible use and safekeeping of company assets assigned to the position.
- Communication with clients / colleagues and sub-contractors conducted in a professional and respectful manner.
- Set up solar monitoring system (Programming of inverters).
- Project costing and tendering.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum** of 5 years post trade experience.
- **Minimum** of 3 years in a supervisor role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Clean Criminal Record.
- Must be fluent in English and 1 additional language.
- Trade Tested / Red Seal, both single
- and three-phase is an advantage.
- Wireman’s license single and three phase in order to do COC is an advantage.
- Previous experience of preventative & corrective maintenance on a solar plant.
- An apprenticeship in electrical and solar installation.
- Computer literate and proficient in the MS Office Suite.
- Must reside in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape.
