Our client, a leading engineering firm, based in Middelburg area, seeks to employ a Credit Controller for their fast-paced operation who will assist in managing the collection of all payments and debts as well as liaising with clients to uphold the company name.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION**
- You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You must have completed a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting, coupled with 5+ years experience in a similar field with advanced experience in Excel.
- You will be able to work independently, have excellent accuracy and attention to detail and be exceptionally professional in your approach to customers.
- You will be evaluating new credit requests and conducting client checks, managing and collecting debts, you will also target and monitor overdue accounts.
- You will be setting up the terms of credit for new clients and negotiating payment plans coupled with responding to client inquiries
- You must be able to reconcile complex debtors accounts and prepare statements for the company accountant
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
