Production Foreman

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Production Foreman to join our client's manufacturing team in Durban. As a Production Foreman, you will play a key role in overseeing production operations and ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Train and develop production staff, providing guidance and support
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary materials
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flows and resolve any issues

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
