_**Seeking PR & Events Assistant Manager for Global Auto Manufacturer / Edenvale / R40k - R48k pm plus 13th & car / Diploma or Degree / Auto PR pre-requisite**_

This position reports into the company's Marketing Manager and you will be able to hone your PR and Eventing skills across marketing and media events. - **In the job, you will get to do the following**:_
- AUTO Public Relations and Media Fleet Management:

- act as a brand ambassador and spokesperson
- do press releases
- manage PR activities
- manage PR co-ordinator and external agencies
- maintain media database
- AUTO Event and Activations:

- fully manage auto product launches end to end
- manage cross promotions, consumer shows and press conferences
- work with agency event staff
- monitor all media and marketing event exposure and ROI generated
- Ensure placement of marketing material
- Brand Campaigns
- assist with implementation
- manage corporate sponsorships and marketing events
- **To succeed in the job, you will need**:_

1. A degree or diploma in PR, Marketing, Business, Journalism or similar

2. **Prior AUTO PR & Events experience (at least 3 years in Auto \ Non negotiable)**

3. To be able to do extensive local travel and work overtime when needed

4. Ideally experience working in multifunctional teams
