**Who We're Looking For**:
The Bay Hotel, set against the breathtaking Twelve Apostle Mountain range and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean in glamorous Camps Bay, is looking for a Baker’s Assistant to join their exceptional team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our bakery, assisting in the creation of delicious, high-quality baked goods that delight our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the head baker, preparing ingredients, monitoring baking times, and ensuring our baked treats are consistently fresh and of the highest standard. From handling inquiries to maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, you’ll be a reliable and detail-oriented team member who helps bring our bakery’s offerings to life. Your mission? To contribute to a warm, inviting bakery experience that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression on every guest who indulges in our baked goods.

**What Is Required**:
The apprentice baker will create and bake breads and pastries for the Camps Bay hotels, trade clients as well as the store.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or Equivalent.
- Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level.
- Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular).
- 2 year working experience in any industry.
