Manufact Ops

**Location: Durban (LOBP)**:
**Purpose of the Job**:
To operate the forklift vehicle to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and trucks or storage facilities in order to ensure the smooth operation of the plant to meet customer requirements.

**What you'll have done before**:
Baseline:

- NQF Level 4 (Matric/Grade 12)
- Forklift Driving License
- 2 Years’ experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience in Operations and Administration.

Advantageous:

- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment;
- Numerical ability.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles or production machinery such as trucks or turntables
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Check that all loads are secure and safe for moving;
- Stacking empty pallets;
- Examine products on delivery to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks’ battery and lubricating equipment;
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
- Ensure compliance to all HSEQ regulation, standards and policies;
- Ensure compliance and governance to audit requirements;
- Ensure compliance to driving standards and regulations;Complete all relevant documentation as per production schedule and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
