To provide HR support to the HR Officers of the business unit by implementing and executing the HR strategies in support of the overall business plan through enhancing people engagement, enablement and performance.

Key Performance Outputs
- Anticipate payment implications due to operational and/or administration changes and communicate in a timely manner with management to implement required action plans if needed.
- Daily and weekly reporting on productivity, absenteeism and overtime for all farms and provide guidance in managing these elements.
- Implement and coordinate a performance management system for all wage workers.
- Standardise the process across all farms but providing guideline documents and training to HR Officers and Estate/Production Managers.
- Collate all performance management data and present in practical relevant and translatable for incentive allocations.
- Advise and support HR Officers on the interpretation and/or implementation of relevant labor legislation and policies/procedures.
- Monitor IR trends and advise HR Manager on possible interventions required.
- Act as first point of contact with any unions on farms and as spoke person for farms.
- Advise and support HR Officers with basic disciplinary issues and formulating of disciplinary charges and related letters.
- Act as Chairperson for more serious disciplinary cases on all farms to ensure correct procedure was followed and standardising processes across farms.
- Prepare CCMA documentation and attend CCMA proceedings on behalf of farms.
- Assist employees with queries on policies and procedures.
- Do internal HR audits on all farms and assist with preparation for any external audits i.e. Department of Labour, SIZA etc.
- Assist HR Officers with registration of injuries on duty.
- Standardise all procedures and documentation across farms.

**Requirements**:
Minimum Education/Qualification/Experience:

- Senior certificate / grade 12 / matric.
- 3 Year National Diploma or B Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience

Functional / Technical Experience
- Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of BCEA and LRA.
- Working knowledge of Skills Development and Equity Acts.
- Knowledge of Farm Trace and VIP will be advantageous.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paarl, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
