Our client in the Food processing industry seeks a Payroll Specialist to join their busy HR Team.

**Payroll Officer**
- Accurately calculate and process 4 payrolls consisting of over 500 employees, including benefits & deductions; new employee appointment, promotions, and or terminations.
- Ensure payroll records are updated on time: Overtime, Leave schedules, absenteeism and other related admin
- Process Statutory payments and reports such as UI-19, PAYE, EMP501, IRP5 etc.
- Ensure payslips are printed and issued weekly.
- Pull weekly and monthly payroll reports and send to relevant parties.
- Resolve payroll related queries once investigation is done regarding discrepancies.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Finance & HR department.
- Assist with audits (BEE, EE, Seta and DoL) and conduct internal audits
- Must be able to assist with legislative submissions and ensure it is submitted before the deadline.

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Solid Knowledge of BCEA and LRA is essential.
- Advanced VIP Premier or Sage People 300 Payroll
- Experience in timekeeping (Viper and/or EcoTime T&A) is advantageous.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong numerical aptitude

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R27,000.00 per month
