Perform the administrative function for the Engineering department and manage the purchase, budget and control of spares, materials and stock.

**REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING**
- Grade 12
- Business Administration Learnership/ equivalent qualification
- Project Administration qualification

**REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 3 years’ experience in project administration and purchasing
- 3 years’ experience with CAPEX projects/budgets
- 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing plant with advanced documentation systems and procedures
- Project management experience

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Consolidate and generate Energy reports, standby & callout reports from information received from different sites
- Store, track and supply relevant information from the different sites
- Request for quotations from suppliers
- Purchase order communication with relevant stakeholders
- Follow up on open orders
- Ensure that the relevant invoices are signed and processed
- Ensure all CAPEX projects have the necessary documents and that the files are maintained
- Record meeting minutes and action points
- Communicate actions with relevant responsible people
- Assist with the development and documenting of AFGRI-specific standards and other document-related requirements as and when needed
- Advise your supervisor of observations made regarding potential hazards, breach of safety regulations with possible safety risks
- Report all near misses
- Comply with all requirements for Occupational Health and Safety

**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES**
- Basic understanding of financials
- Basic understanding of Project processes
- Strong working knowledge of document control
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and others)
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
