Roles and responsibilities of the Forklift Battery Technician:

- Valid drivers license is a minimum requirement.
- Maintains, inspects, installs and cleans batteries and terminals.
- Maintains, repair and install batteries for forklifts.
- Tests and modulates metering devices and charging equipment.
- Testing battery systems.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Takes voltage and specific gravity readings.
- Fill batteries with water.
- Recharges, removes, and replaces batteries.
- Providing support to the Forklift Battery technician.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Client visits regarding the maintenance of their batteries.
- Ensuring good housekeeping of workplace and company vehicle.

You may from time to time, be required to perform other duties which are not included in the primary job description but are reasonably within the area of capability of the Employee, if the Employee is required to do so.

Pay: R9 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
