**Job Title**: Welder/Boilermaker

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Welding**: Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metals, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- **Fabrication**: Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
- **Repair**: Inspect and repair existing metal structures and equipment, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding and fabrication preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum [3 years] of experience as a welder/boilermaker.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in various welding techniques and methods; experience with different metals (steel, aluminum, etc.).
- **Tools & Equipment**: Familiarity with welding tools and equipment, including plasma cutters, grinders, and safety gear.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- **Communication**: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- **Physical Stamina**: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and working in various conditions.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors, on ladders, and in industrial settings.

**Work Environment**:

- Typically works in commercial or industrial buildings, construction sites, or maintenance settings.
- May require overtime or on-call work for emergency repairs or maintenance.

Pay: R18 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
