Jnr Actuarial Analyst

An exciting new opportunity exists in the MiWay Actuarial Sales team. We are continuously looking to enhance operational efficiencies and improve sales performance. Come join the team and be part of the challenge.
Under direct supervision, performs assignments of actuarial-related duties such as preparing, performing and analysing actuarial research and audits. Other duties include collecting data from various databases and performing standard mathematical calculations. Deliverables
Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
- Building and implementing of propensity models
- Continuous improvements to model building and implementation methodology
- Data analysis focusing on Sales operations and performance
- Assisting to build an end-to-end sales funnel for contacting, selling and later upselling new and existing clients
- Automation and reporting across all Sales channels Knowledge & Skills

Analytical and critical thinker with a curious mind
Attention to detail and accuracy
Understand the underlying statistical theory used to build GLM’s
Programming skills in SQL, R or Python will be an advantage
Agile and willing to change priorities as business needs change
Able to work alone and in team
