- B-Tech degree in **Industrial Engineering or Production Management**.
- Post graduate degree in Engineering or Masters of Business Administration
- **16.2 appointment.**:

- **5 Years’ Experience in the heavy manufacturing steel** sector
- **5 Years -Adequate knowledge of business and management principles** (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and Human Resources
- Knowledgeable on safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Driver’s License.
- Clear Criminal Record. Clear ITC record

In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and theory.

Business planning, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, delegation, and time management.

Computer Literacy: MS Office (essential)

**DUTIES**:
Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations. Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping, drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. Responsible for the entire operations of the manufacturing plant 1. This includes the management and coordination of daily activities to ensure high performance and production at all times. Assume total control, accountability and responsibility of the plant performance and infrastructure as well as all assets, equipment and personnel.

**Planning**

Administration, nesting and programming departments. Components. Stores - all stores in Main Plant 1. Pre-treatment departments.

**Welding departments, both manual and robot welding as well as the Bin Robot department.**

**Operations**

**Assume total control, accountability and responsibility of the entire plant specifically the departments listed**.

Assume responsibility for the overall plant performance and infrastructure as well as all assets, equipment and personnel.

Plan and implement measures to improve profitability and reduce risks.

Define, coordinate and control the activities of the Production, Logistics, Quality and Technical Functions including:
**All maintenance aspects of the plant.** All quality aspects of the entire plant.

All continuous improvement aspects of the entire plant. Manage all productions processes.

Develop and implement new and improved working methods to improve functionality and efficiency in all departments.

Comply with the health and safety regulation as a section

Develop and implement activities to increase customer satisfaction.

**Ensure all customer supply requirements are met**. Initiate and monitor cost reductions activities.

**Oversee all engineering change management, project management, and localization activities**.
