We are seeking an experienced and analytical finance director with strong numerical skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the finance director will include, multi-skilling accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, implementing strategies, engaging with investors, developing a financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance. Your skills in sound financial planning coupled with your ability to direct financial assets will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies, managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position, and enhancing investor confidence.

KPI’s
- Manages a growing finance department.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Builds and manages monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
- Advises on venture capital and private equity fundraising strategies.
- Develops strategies to increase return on investment and profitability.
- Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance.
- Presents financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the executives and directors to create budgets and track key performance indicators.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Securities and ExchangePlan, implement and manage the overall financial strategy.
- Be aware of the company's financial position at all times.
- Act in a timely manner if problems arise.
- Constantly suggest ideas for improvement and process optimization.
- Oversee and manage the company’s finance IT system.
- Set targets for finance personnel.
- Set up KPIs for financial performance.
- Monitor and present KPI reports regularly.
- Plan and manage all audit and internal control operations.
- Do research and make forecasts.
- ECommission (SEC) rules and regulations.

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From R50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
