Visual Projects advertising agency is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a social media marketing specialist. As a specialist, you will be responsible for building and engaging various different online communities across various media platforms for a number of different clients and industry types.
- In short, your role will involve executing effective social media strategies, fostering meaningful connections with audiences, ensuring positive online presences and reporting on what is happening. _

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement content plans across all social media platforms, including scheduling and publishing daily content.
- Implement an integrated social media strategy that supports the company’s marketing objectives.
- Execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with different client's brand objectives.
- Executes advertising campaigns for our clients, monitors performance and ability to improve performance.
- Audience growth - drive community growth by implementing strategies to increase followers, likes, shares and overall engagement on social media.
- Building content calendars in line with social media best practices
- Community engagement - engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages and mentions across a variety of social media platforms.
- Assist in overseeing and producing creative and original content (copy, captions, images and video) for all social media platforms, whilst maintaining a consistent, high-quality brand image.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media updates, trends and collaborators.
- Create content reports and analyse data.
- Proficient in Facebook Business manager
- Check budgets and optimise campaigns based on budgets.
- Able to maintain campaign budget and supply reports on finances to clients.
- Monitors and analyses site performance to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing audience profiles.
- Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.
- Able to help manage content and design, and give recommendations to new clients.
- Able to report on campaigns performance and give recommendations for future
- Go to meetings with clients and assist with trainings or recommendations as needed.
- General once off tasks.
- Exceptional inter-personal, planning, management, and communication skills.
- Reviewing and optimising company website and social media pages
- Excellent writing skills - grammar, content development, as well as internal and external communications.
- SEO: Assisting in managing SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to improve rankings on major search networks.
- Implementing web updates provided by client. Monitor and plan to ensure timely enhancements and changes to the website
- Creation of Tiktok videos, reals and stories.

**Skills**:

- A national diploma or degree in marketing is required
- Minimum of 1-2 years related experience
- Experience of 1-2 years with working on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
- Knowledge and experience on video and photography equipment and procedures is a bonus
- Proven work experience as a social media marketing specialist or a similar role in the marketing department
- Understanding of social media principles and best practices
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics
- Knowledge of social media design tools like Canva, Skitch and Easily
- Great leadership skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Basic WordPress skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Good time and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
