CDP / CRM Developer and Administrator sought to join privately owned, global leader founded at the end of the 19th century. They have grown exponentially and currently employ over 4300 people in offices located in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Their global footprint and cutting-edge business operations necessitated a digital transformation, and they have recently moved into the cloud to fully harness the power of their globally rolled out of MS Dynamics 365 CRM. This has added complexity and increased the need to leverage the Microsoft Power Platform for even richer data processing. As such they are looking for an additional resource to help achieve this. They are looking for an individual, based in South Africa, who will form part of the global team, working closely with colleagues based in Europe and Canada, and participate in the definition, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions, to help the company evolve towards innovative decision support solutions. You will be a key contributor in assessing business needs, defining requirements, and designing and developing complex projects to meet the needs of the company/business units. Key duties will include integrating existing systems and services into the Customer Data Platform (CDP) architecture; maintain a scalable and up to date CDP environment that will support current and future business growth; evaluating the overall system performance of the CDP environment to meet business needs and avoid downtime; helping plan and schedule CDP project deliverables, goals, and milestones; design and maintain technical documentation, including the platform roadmap; and participating in the areas of mentorship and knowledge sharing. To apply you should have a BSc Computer Science Degree or similar coupled with 5+ years of CDP/CRM Reporting / Administration and SQL experience. You should be well versed in MS Dynamics 365 and have experience in PowerBI, Power Apps and other relevant Microsoft Software. You will need to be proficient with developing, deploying, customizing, and integrating a CDP and highly proficient in reading and writing advanced SQL queries with experience in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, and Python. You will also be required to have experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments. Experience with Power Automate and Azure is an advantage. The role will suit someone with an excellent ability to understand and translate business needs into effective solutions, both at the business and technical levels, and you will need to demonstrate proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and processes. You will need to have the ability to resolve escalated problems quickly and efficiently with proven success in handling conflicting demands and priorities effectively using a proactive approach to resolving problems.
