**REQUIREMENTS**
A post-graduate degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics or Econometrics. At least 3 year’s practical experience in developing multiplier analysis models and using them for socioeconomic impact analysis. Knowledge and verifiable experience in the development of suites of databases and CGE models and the ability to implement these models through GEMPACK and/or GAMS software packages. Knowledge and experience in interpreting and analysis of socioeconomic impact metrics as well as (ex
- & post-ante) policy impacts.

**KEY OUTPUTS**
- Develop and maintain various I-O & SAM multiplier analysis user models (with advanced Microsoft Excel & VBA capabilities).
- Develop and maintain a suite of CGE models and related databases for selected African countries.
- Manage various client engagements and meetings to deliver report findings or for proposal presentations.
- Provide theoretically sound and well-researched reports/presentations linking model outcomes to policy questions.
- Ability to interpret complex economic analysis and present it in simpler terms.
- Develop training material and provide support to junior economists.
- Proven knowledge and experience in socioeconomic policy analysis.
- Knowledge of the African policy environment and experience in policy review.
- Sound analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant experience in managing and developing people.
- Ability to take the initiative and work well in a team.
- Contributing to the technical components of consulting projects, including reviewing and quality-assuring the work of colleagues.
