Responsibilities in the preparation of Planning and implementation to the operationin accordance with the laid down standards as set by the Sodexo Southern Africa.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Ensuring the nutritional adequacy of meals served to patients and the client.
- Planning and implementation of menus including special diet menus.
- Development and implementation of standardized recipes, includingtherapeutic diet menu.
- Patient Consultations (assessment, diet planning, education etc.)
- Training of food service staff.
- Training of other health professionals.
- Assist with function catering.
- Quality control and improvement
- Grade 12
- 3 years’ experience in similar position
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Proficiency in Excel, Presentation & Reporting
- Knowledge of menus, nutritional analysis, recipes, diet planning and menu costings
- Proficiency with Food Finder Program
- Patient counselling skills
- Knowledge of good hygiene practices
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Knowledge of infection control.
- Registration with the HEALTH PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL OF SOUTH AFRICA as a dietician
- Contract catering experience would be (advantageous.)
- Will be responsible for to sit.

Driver Licence (Essential)

Ability to commute/relocate:
