**Job description**
To lead and manage the NTN division to exercise regulatory control over Nuclear Technology and Waste Projects facilities as wellas facilities handling naturally occurring radioactive materials.

**Requirements**:
MSc (NQF Level 9) in Natural Science
Minimum of 10 years regulatory/nuclear industry experience with at least 8 years management experience
Management qualification

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Management and oversight of all regulatory decisions for the division including reviews, assessments, inspections,compliance assurance, enforcement etc
Propose amendment of conditions of authorisation as appropriate
Staffing of the Division and all human resource management related activities such as team management, development,motivation and coaching of staff
Provide strategic direction and monitor performance of the Division
Risk, Audit and Legal Compliance management in the work of the Division
Develop, propose and review the budget of the Division
Information storage and retrieval in line with organisational policies
Develop appropriate policies and processes to facilitate consistent discharge of the work of the Division in line with the NNR'sintegrated management system
