Night Radiographer

**Branch: SCP Radiology Panorama**

**Objective**:
Will be responsible for operating Diagnostic Radiography Equipment to ensure diagnostic imaging of the highest standard and maintain the highest quality of patient care. Working hours are Sunday to Thursday 17:30 - 01:30 with standby from 01:30 - 07:30 on those days.

**Requirements**:

- National Diploma or Degree Diagnostic Radiographer
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Basic Life Support certificate
- South African citizenship or valid South African work permit
- Compliance with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes as required by HPCSA
**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform a night duty diagnostic radiography service which includes General and theatre work
- Deliver Radiology images of diagnostic quality
- Perform duties as a general radiographer during night duty shifts
- Be patient focused
- Good interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, referring physicians and radiologists
- Supervise diagnostic radiography students when applicable
- Report to Head of Department
