As Africology Warehouse Manager, you'll need to liaise with customers, suppliers, transport companies; coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods. Use space and handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
- Lead warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring a collaborative work environment
- Coordinate shipping and receiving processes to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Implement safety protocols to create a secure work environment for the team
- Address any issues or challenges that may arise during warehouse operations
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, equipment layouts and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality and customer service
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of packages
- Responsible for the management of the Warehouse Company vehicles and motorised includes managing planned repairs & maintenance
- Ensure effective communication is facilitated between departments to ensure & maintain optimal customer service
- Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in warehouse & related duties
- Develop and implement new systems, best practices, demand planning, and other optimizations to ensure cost, time efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse output
- Accountable for all goods in storage. This includes (but is not limited to) correct packing and stacking of product for storage, correct product to bin allocation, stock rotation on the FIFO (First In First Out) principal, material handling during storage
- Accountable for weekly cycle counts, monthly stock takes, discrepancy reporting, discrepancy investigations as well as stock reconciliations
- Facility management to ensure that warehouse buildings remain in a state of good repair and up to date in terms of H&S (Health & Safety) requirements.
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
- Placing and tracking purchase orders to replenish stock
- Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items
- Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test product packaging quality
- Track and ensure deliveries are received
- Receiving stock on DEAR
- Manage an inhouse tailor, monitor material usage and requisitions.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Matric
- Diploma or equivalent in logistics or supply chain management
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing employees
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Excellent communication abilities to interact with the team and other departments
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing situations
