**Centurion (Route 21 Business Park): SENIOR IT SPECIALIST**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Presentable Afrikaans speaking
- Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (KEY REQUIREMENT - NOT NEGOTIABLE)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field a must
- Minimum 10 years extensive recent experience in IT, with a focus on FortiGate, M365 cloud solutions, network management, Hyper-V clusters, and Microsoft server administration
- Expert-level knowledge of FortiGate firewall appliances and security configurations.
- Proven ability to design and implement complex network solutions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring junior IT staff.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- IT certifications such as Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or similar highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle a must
- Stable employment record and contactable reference
- Residing within daily commuting distance from Centurion
- To start as soon as possible

**Duties**:

- Lead and shape IT Department for company specializing in IT solutions

**-**Provide technical leadership and expertise across organization, guiding team in implementing cutting-edge IT solutions.
- Oversee and mentor junior IT technicians, helping them develop their skills and capabilities.

**-**Act as resident expert in FortiGate, ensuring security and performance of network infrastructure.
- Utilize M365 Cloud Solutions for tenant configuration, migration, optimization, enhancing cloud services

**-**Manage and maintain complex network environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Administer Hyper-V cluster environments for stability and efficiency.
- Microsoft Server Administration, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

**-**Client Solution Development
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline IT processes and enhance efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and best practices as a resource for junior techs.
- Resolve complex technical issues and challenges, providing timely and effective solutions.

**-**Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality services and products.

**Salary: Negotiable depending on experience**
