**Exciting Opportunity**: Historical Miller & Distiller

**Requirements**:
Formal or informal training in grain milling and/or distillation is preferred. Applicants with a background in any technical craft willing to learn milling and distilling are also welcome.
Matric or relevant higher qualification would be advantageous.
Experience working in a small team.
Fluent in both written and spoken Afrikaans and English.
Exceptional people skills, preferably in a hospitality, tourism, or theatre context.
Reliable, well-organised, and creative mindset.
Ability to work in historical costume, engage with visitors, and perform demonstrations during hospitality hours, including weekends.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct daily demonstrations of grain milling and basic distillation tasks for the public and school groups.
Prepare the milling and distilling areas for demonstrations, production, and debriefing after activities.
Engage with visitors, explaining the work and historical context, answering questions, and maintaining visitor engagement.
Package flour and liquor made in demonstration areas for sale in the Soetmelksvlei shop, ensuring adequate stock levels.
