ENERGY NRG 44/24 Senior Professional Officer

**Requirements**:

- B Degree in Science, Engineering,

Finance or Economics
- 5 years relevant experience
- Data management and analytical skills
- Sufficient working technical and theoretical knowledge

to make estimates and forecasts of energy use and

greenhouse gas emissions in the key economic sectors

Key Performance Areas
- Manage, supervise and/or co-ordinate all activities

related Report City operational and city-wide energy and

GHG emissions data and analysis to international and

local platforms, national government and City partners as

needed.
- Collect, analyse and interpret data for monitoring and

verification of energy efficiency and renewable energy

projects
- Energy systems modelling particularly energy demand

modelling and related climate action mitigation measures

modelling. The position will be responsible for the

maintenance and ongoing improvement of the City’s

demand-side energy systems simulation model currently

built on the Low Emissions Analysis Platform
- Lead the compilation of the annual greenhouse gas

inventory according to GPC standards
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements, develop

collaborative programmes and manage expectations
- Represent SEM on Transversal Data Co-Ordinating

Committee and provide strategic input. Ensure

coordination with other relevant data bodies in the City
- Project development and budget planning and management

for data management and integration projects within the

department
