**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric and tertiary qualification (Supply Chain / Warehouse Management / Industrial Engineering)
- 10 years’ experience as a Supply Chain / Warehouse Manager
- A background from packaging manufacturing would be advantageous
- MS Office proficient (Excel advanced), SYSPRO and Warehouse Management Systems - Essential
- Adherence to quality systems (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001) - Essential
- Experience in managing inbound (freight clearing, forwarding and receipting) and outbound logistics (dispatch and distribution)
- Experience with forecasting and allocations
- Management experience - Essential
- Flexible working hours
- Own car - Essential

**Job Functions**:

- Full responsibility for inventory control procedures (on site and off site)
- Cycle counting, month end stock counts and recons
- Annual auditing
- Supplier contract negotiations (pricing, annual review, audits and evaluation)
- Procurement
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics
- Manage outsourcing and value add processes
- Implement and work with the warehouse management systems and tools - Warehouse layout, stacking, barcoding and scanning, binning, traceability
- Pro-actively lead the team
- Attend to general human resource related activities
- Budget and financial management
