**Medical Receptionist/PA for a Plastic Surgery Practice - Fourways**

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of ICD10 coding, theatre protocols
- Managing Doctor’s external diary and appointments
- Capturing patient information timeously and accurately on the Goodx web system
- Ensuring that consent forms and patient terms and conditions are signed prior to consultations and surgery
- Assisting in preparing theatre lists and co-ordinating with other surgical practices for combined cases, and liaising with hospital and theatre staff in a professional and organised manner
- Obtaining medical aid authorisations
- Administrative duties as per company requirements (updating daily patient lists, theatre lists etc)
- Submission of medical aid claims to WCA
- In-room collection of payments and invoicing
- Assisting with patient account queries

**Qualification**
- Must have a Tertiary qualification (medical certificates/diploma/degree)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Goodx web system

**Skills And Attributes**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality
- Innovative and able to take own initiative
- Well-presented, neat and professional
- Good computer literacy
- Great attention to detail

**Advantageous**:

- Medical billing experience
- Driver’s license and own car

**Working Hours**
- Weekdays 08:00am to 17:00pm
- Alternative Saturdays 09:00am to 14:00pm

**Salary**: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
