**Job Overview**
Route Planner reporting to the Dispatch Manager
The Route Planner responsibilities include to plan and track the best daily routes and follow up that it is adhered to.
**Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)**
- **Planning**
- Planning all routes for the warehouse
- Ensuring maximum workloads distributed to each driver can be completed safely and to high standards
- Confirming available vehicles for daily routes
- Ensuring a truck never drives empty
- Daily route scheduling per sales route
- **Inbound**
- Mark shipment complete in Receiving Shipment once completed
- Put-Away Maintenance must be cleared all the time
- Ensure all stock is captured with batch numbers and expiry dates
- Ensure all damaged/short stock is found and returned
- Make sure all inbound have a pallet ID assigned to the pallet
- Make sure all stock can be scanned and that the barcodes are captured in master data
- Keep record of product codes and suppliers that do not have correct barcodes
- Accuracy of put a ways to bulk locations
- **Outbound**
- Make sure all orders are completed within the SLA
- Make sure all orders are completed correctly and that all started orders are checked and completed
- Make sure nothing is outstanding on Picking Progress and Picking Job Query
- Make sure all replenishments are created and completed daily
- Housekeeping of the picking area is up to standard and all stock reflects on the system. (CQ)
- All fixed bin location has the correct stock items and quantities and does not contain any mixed stock. Freezer (F01 and F32-F37)
- Picking, checking and replenishment performance is up to standard.
- Picking errors within acceptable range.
- Make sure all stock is sent to a location and no stock is out of place (Pick Face).
- Ad hoc movement is not being used at all.
- **People Management**
- Ensure great inbound staff performance
- Ensure housekeeping is up to standard
**Knowledge, skills, and experience required**
**Educational Background**:
- Grade 12
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans & English
- Mathematical Ability
- Knowledge in MyGeotab
- Knowledge in CQuential warehouse system
- Proficient in Windows
**Knowledge/Skills**:
- Minimum 1 year of logístical or planning needed
- Operational Agility
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ensure Vision, Mission and Values underpin all activities

Salary between R10 000 and R14 000 depending on experience.
