Storeman - Automotive

- R R14 000 - R R16 500 Monthly ()- Our Client based in the Transport & Logistics Industry seeks a well organised Storeman to be based in Kempton Park (Automotive)

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Computer literate
- Code 8 driver’s license
- Quality System Assessment will be an advantage
- 3 years’ experience as a storeman from Automotive essential
- High-quality standards and High safety standards
- Good administration skills
- Stock holding skill
- Good housekeeping principles
- Knowledge of spare parts and truck spare parts
- Knowledge of Volvo, Scania, Hino, Mercedes Benz UD Trucks, and BPW axel (backbone for your trailer)
- Knowledge of Glycol Recovery Vehicle (GRV)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Order stock, receive stock (POD) proof of delivery, Issue stock, control stock, monthly stock take
- Manage oil issues and orders
- Follow up on stock and spares and expedite deliveries
- Must be able to operate under pressure and after hours
- Negotiate quotes with suppliers
- Quality driven, self-organized and work organized
- Must be able to plan daily work and stock
