Male Sports Coach

**We are recruiting for a qualified and highly motivated Male Sports Coach.**

Position overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic Male **Sports Coach **to join our Team. The Sports Coach is responsible for providing high-quality sports and physical education lessons to students in the school. The position's primary goal is to improve students' physical fitness, promote teamwork, and foster a lifelong love of sports. The Sports Coach will also contribute to the development of the school's overall sports program by creating and implementing new training programs and identifying and cultivating talent among the students.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Plan and prepare engaging and safe sports lessons.

2. Deliver sports lessons and activities effectively.

3. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.

4. Maintain a safe and organised sports environment.

5. Creates a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.

6. Use a variety of assessment techniques to measure student learning and progress.

7. Encourages students to participate and provides feedback and support to help them improve their skills.

**Requirements**:
1. **Experience**: At least 2 years’ experience in coaching role essential.

2. **Qualification**:

- Current Certification First Aid (Level 1) essential;
- Qualification in either netball, soccer, rugby, cricket or athletics;
- PDP Driver’s License essential; Code 10 Driver’s License advantageous.

3. **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.

4. **Ability to commute/relocate**: The Reeds, Centurion. (Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work).

5. A clear criminal record is essential.

6. A willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the School.
