Electrical & Hvac Technician

Our client who specializes in refrigeration and electrical maintenance is looking for an Electrical & HVAC Technician to join their team based in Kraaifontein, Cape Town.

**Minimum Requirements**
Matric (Grade 12).
Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English fluently.
HVAC technical qualifications (air-conditioning technician) / Electrical N2.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience working with refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pump repairs, installations, fault finding, maintenance, and servicing.
Proficient with manual and power tools.
Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle to get to work & home.
Must be able to handle stressful situations and work under pressure to complete work within scheduled times.

**Responsibilities**
Installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems, cold & freezer rooms & electrical work.
Work on freezer rooms, display fridges, and island freezers.
Service ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
Electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 07:30-17:00
Must have a positive mindset.
Standby will be expected once the employee can prove himself within 90 days. (2 weeks in a month you will be on standby).
Overtime will be paid when the employee goes out to calls.
A company car will be at work where the employee must come & fetch the work vehicle & drop it off after the breakdown is done.

**Important**
Salary is negotiable depending on what you can bring to the table.
The employee must have sober habits.

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month

- Kraaifontein, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
