Conduct field work and data collection throughout Africa focusing on macro-invertebrates and fish ecological aspects.
- Undertake specialist impact assessments within this field of expertise
- Conduct research, focusing specifically on aquatic ecology.
- Write specialist reports based on findings

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Good foundational Knowledge of aquatic ecology.
- Basic understanding and practical experience with environmental legislation and National Water Act.
- They must be able to work with a 20kg fish shocker (Smithroot/Halltech) in flowing systems.
- Project management.
- Must be a strong swimmer.
- Environmental Management Legislation and Principles.
- Must be willing to travel throughout Africa.
- Valid Driver's License (Advantageous)

**Qualifications**: BSc degree in Aquatic Health. Preferably a student who is currently registered for their MSc.

**Professional Registration**: Preferably registered with SASS and SACNASP.
