**About Us**:
**Job Purpose**:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will report to our Facilities Manager and play a crucial role in maintaining the facilities and equipment at our manufacturing plant. Leveraging your technical skills and attention to detail, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for our employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, lighting, and machinery.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with facility improvements and renovations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Assist with emergency response procedures and protocols as needed.
- Support other departments with facility-related tasks and projects as assigned.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting and bending.
