A leading Global chocolate brand is looking for a Junior Product Manager.

**Position Purpose**

Develop plans and execute projects and initiatives for the assigned product portfolio, which support both the short and long-term marketing strategy, with the support of the line manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and analyse brand profitability and brand performance within the market.
- Assist with the annual marketing plan development.
- Take ownership of your brand and projects and ensure new product launches and all campaign elements are on time.
- Input ideas for new product development and manage product development process.
- Manage Brand portfolio.
- Plan, execute and review consumer promotions.
- Do regular store checks in all retailers to check on initiatives and brand exposure.
- Work with advertising and PR agencies to implement PR and advertising strategy.
- Organize brand events and sampling according to brand plan.
- Align with International Marketing and translate international guidelines into a local strategy for your sub brand(s).
- Monitor brand budget.
- Assist line manager with projects.

- Willing to support and take over additional workload when required
- Willing to travel within South Africa when the projects, company requires it
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail to guarantee high quality level of execution for all brand related activities (NPD, packaging, BTL and ATL projects, etc.)
- Ability to communicate with team members and management on a daily basis

**Requirements**:

- Completed, relevant Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of one years' relevant experience in similar environment, ideally with international exposure and product development experience
- Preferably experience with premium FMCG brands
- Excellent MS skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
