**What will you do?**
- Assisting, performing and reporting on key information security activities such as:

- Reporting and follow ups with regards to Anti-Malware, Anti-Virus, Security patching of all IT related hardware/software.
- Investigate and resolve logical access incidents.
- Provide afterhours & weekend support as part of project involvement and when required
- Document and update necessary processes & procedures.
- Assist and respond to audit requirements in a timeous manner.
- Conduct and complete regular access reviews in allocated timeframes.
- Actively investigate solutions to improve security processes.
- Assist to prepare reports of their findings to be reported to management.
- Conduct technical and administrative activities as required from a project and day to day perspective.
- Maintain/build upon security related policies and procedures.
- Provide in-house "hands-on” problem investigation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and support to other internal staff and other IT Team members. Assist as requested in problem solving and troubleshooting to help improve their skill levels.
- Knowledge and Skills- Understanding of IT and Information Security.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Qualification and Experience- Matric, IT related certificate or related qualification from a tertiary institution.
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration is a advantageous
- 3 years’ experience in information security or related field- Behavioural Competencies- Ability to work under pressure.

- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logic.
