An Automotive Component Supplier, based in the ELIDZ, is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. They manufacture and supply high-volume forged aluminium products with a high degree of process capability, precision and quality. The role will have a strong focus on setting up new product lines, as well as continuing with existing lines. It reports into the General / Plant Manager and works closely with the Production Manager.

**Minimum required knowledge and abilities**:

**Abilities**:

- Continual improvement
- Maintain quality systems
- Liaise with Customer

**Responsibilities**:
**Production - ensure outputs as per release are achieved**
- Ensure hourly output from inspectors is achieved
- Analysis of all recorded scrap data for scrap reduction and improvement
- Ensure all inspection documentation is available on time to meet customer's shipping requirements
- Inspection standards as per Customer agreement and requirements: MDW, OEE, MRS

**SHE**
- ISO 14001 Standards
- OHSAS 18001 Standards
- Maintain environmental, health and safety policies and manuals
- Continuous improvement of the SHE on site
- Monthly SHE committee meetings
- Report and rectify deviations
- Complete and action necessary audits

**Quality - Quality systems and output targets met or bettered as required**
- IATF 16949 Standards or similar as required by Customers
- Ensure incoming material is of the required quality
- Maintain IATF quality systems manual/policies
- Ensure quality systems are being maintained on the shop floor
- Shop floor audits
- Annual audits for certification
- Ensure finished products meet Customers’ requirements
- Complete and document all laboratory tests in accordance with customers' requirements
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis to improve quality output

**Customer Liaison**
- Regular meetings with the Customer to discuss quality issues and all liaisons on Quality issues
