Our logistics client is looking for a Groupage Import Clerk/Controller to join their team

**Responsibilities**:

- Checking up with vessel updates daily on TPT
- Responsible for forwarding shipping lines ANF and invoices
- Open the manual file for each container received
- Preparing labels for containers being received
- Responsible for checking all agent's documents correspond with the SALL Global manifest.
- Responsible for forwarding shipping lines ANF and invoices
- Once the container arrives, get it unpacked timelessly.
- Arranging PHO, Customs, and SAPS exams for all detained SALL Global shipments
- Representing SALL Global at other nominated warehouses for unpacks and exams
- Overseeing all re-packs for damaged cargo
- Loading out collection cargo once released
- Ensuring the correct paperwork is received prior to releasing cargo.
- Capturing of cargo on FMS that is destined for JHB prior to handing over to SALL.
- Supervise the full unpack of Groupage containers.
- Take photos of all cartons.
- Arrange outturn reports.
- 24 HR Container acquittal.
- 28-Day Container acquittal.
- Manifest and cargo acquittal.
- Keeping documents in files for customs.
- Ability to function unsupervised.
- Request for POs from JHB for each item
- Update Spreadsheets for management
- Ensure items ordered are delivered on time.
- Hand over all invoices to management weekly for approval
- Capturing of diesel registers
- Updating of monthly diesel checklists of SafeCyte

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
