Blockman

A busy retail store in randburg is looking for a qualified blockman,

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
- Minimum 3 years' Blockman experience
- Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extending periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments
- Operational Agility

Duties will include but not limited to
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
- Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying product
- Performing quality inspections on meats and other products
- Customer Service
- Ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive
- Actively participate as a member of the team
- Performing any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be
assigned by the Manager
- Ensure personal hygiene standards are maintain
- Be actively involved in the OHS and Food Safety System, partake in OHS and Food
Safety System activities as and when directed
- Ensure Vision, Mission and Values underpin all activities
- Ability to show initiative
- Strong communication, task management, and customer service skills
- Performance driven and well organised.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Randpark Ridge, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
