**Job Description**:
Our iK Tribe is growing and we are looking for a Technical Architect to join our Fintech company.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable and experienced in confidently leading the technical design and architecture of software solutions within cross-functional software development teams.

**So, what will you do?**

You will be part of an architecture board where you will give input on best practices, assess current technologies used and participate in the proposal/sharing of new technologies that will be of benefit to the company.

You will be responsible for driving the technical strategy within your teams and to make sure that software deliverables align with company-wide architectural standards.

You will be responsible for estimating the technical feasibility of high-level backlog items and projects to present to senior management.

You will offer mentoring to engineers.

**The deal breakers**
- 4+ Years of Technical Architecture experience designing / working with distributed systems / Micro Services
- 8+ Years of Software Development in one or more high level OO language (Java, C#, C++ etc.)
- Extensive Native Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- A deep understanding of design principle's (SOLID, Design Patterns etc.)
- Experience working and dealing with multi-threaded system complexities.
- Experience building in a micro services architecture - understanding pitfalls and best practices.

The following would be advantageous:

- Able to clearly articulate designs, ideas and architecture to various audiences
- Able to create clear technical diagrams and documentation to describe system designs
- Enjoy sharing knowledge with team members.

**What would you be responsible for?**
- Technical architecture design and implementation of micro services catering to multiple projects.
- Creating and presenting technical documentation and diagrams.
- Assess and advise on technical feasibility during road mapping sessions.
- Ensure software development standards and processes are adhered to - striving for technical excellence.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and design sessions with the Solutions
- and other technical architects.
- Research new technologies and suggest to broader product team where applicable.
- Take on a mentoring role within the dev team.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant IT qualification would be advantageous.
